Your Life . . . Revolves Around Two Men

It makes no difference who you are, where you live, or what your religion is, your life revolves around two men.

Every single person on the face of this earth is connected to either Adam or Jesus Christ. Everything about you is from one or the other.

Romans 5:12:
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

When all men are born they are born into sin thanks to the works of Adam. In Adam every individual being has death stamped into their life.

Those who have accepted the accomplished work of Jesus Christ have a new life in Christ.

II Corinthians 5:17:
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature [creation]: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Unfortunately, no one has affected your life more than Adam. He made the choice to disobey God and therefore all men are born in sin. “Therefore as by the offence of one [Adam] judgment came upon all men to condemnation…” Romans 5:18a. We did not have anything to do with it, but it was so.

To associate with the Lord Jesus Christ is the wisest endeavor any man could do. Jesus Christ, through his redemptive work, accomplished for us what we could never gain on our own efforts – eternal salvation. All we have to do to accept eternal salvation is to believe Romans 10:9. It is a gift. “…even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.” Romans 5:18b.

As a result of Adams work we have death. As a result of Jesus Christ work we have eternal life. Which one do we choose?

Let’s continue to revolve our life around the lord Jesus Christ by the renewing of our minds.

Romans 12:1 and 2:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
