We Know For Sure That . . .

We know for sure that the world did not save us from death and give us eternal life.   God did!

We know for sure that the world did not give us incorruptible seed and call us sons of God.   God did!

We know for sure that the world did not give us the hope of Christ’s return.   God did!

We know for sure that the world did not give us the gift of holy spirit and the nine manifestations.   God did!

We know for sure that the world did not give us access and fellowship with the Heavenly Father.   God did!

Why then do we keep looking to the world for our fulfillment, our peace of mind and our sense of accomplishment? The worldly man looks at his wisdom and the power he possesses and thinks he is king of the hill! However, God says in

Jeremiah 9:23 and 24:
“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”

We know for sure that our fulfillment, our peace of mind and our sense of accomplishment comes from what God’s Word says about us and is a result of our believing the Word of truth. No greater satisfaction lies ahead of us as believers than when we are convinced of the truth of God’s Word and can boldly say:

I John 3:19-21, 24b.
“And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”

What a joy it is to know for sure that we are His and He is ours for eternity. We can live with great confidence and boldness knowing what we know for sure!.

Something to Ponder

“You ask, Where you are to worship? We reply wherever God is glorified, Christ is exalted, God’s Word is honoured, the Holy Spirit’s power is evidenced and man abased. Never go anywhere where you do not know more of God’s Word than when you entered. Never be in any Body where you may be “turned out”; or have your name down where it may be scratched out. Be content with the membership which God has given you in the spiritual unity of the Body of Christ, from which no power in Earth or Hell can cut you off; and be content that your name was written in the Lamb’s “book of life” before the foundation of the world, and from which no power in Earth or Hell can ever take it out. Do nothing to imply that you do not hold these priceless privileges to be of infinite value; or that they can be added to in the slightest degree by any of man’s corporate unities.”
