God’s plan is for us to seek and hide Him in our heart daily. His way is
far better than the hide and seek game which Adam and Eve played after losing
holy spirit. (they “…hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God…”
Genesis 3:8). God promised and then provided a redeemer who has given us
access to come in free to His presence. (Remember in the childhood game it was
“all in free” for those you couldn’t find!) God’s Word refers to
seeking Him early and then hiding Him and His Word in our hearts.
What do the Scriptures say we should Seek?
Psalm 63:1 “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee…”
I Chronicles 16:11 “Seek the Lord and His strength, seek his face
continually.”
Psalm 119:2 “…seek him with the whole heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13 “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye
shall search for me with all your heart.”
Zephaniah 2:3 “Seek ye the LORD…seek righteousness, seek meekness…”
Matthew 6:33 “…seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness…”
Matthew 7:7 & 8 “…seek, and ye shall find…”
What are some of the things the Scriptures say regarding Hiding?
Psalm 119:11 “Thy Word have I hid in mine heart...”
Proverbs 2:1-5 “…hide my commandments with thee…”
Psalm 17:8 “…hide me under the shadow of thy wings,”
Psalm 32:7 “Thou art my hiding place…”
Psalm 55:1 “…hide not thyself from my supplication.”
Psalm 78:4 Hide not the Word.
Psalm 119:114 “Thou art my hiding place and my shield…”
Colossians 1:26 & 27 The mystery was hid but now is made manifest:
Christ in you, the hope of glory.
James 5:20 Converting a soul will hide a multitude of sins.
As we hide God’s Word in our hearts, seek after the things of God and
take full advantage of our free access to God daily, we shall certainly be
blessed.

Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed
the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
Job 23:12.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto
according to thy word.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy
commandments.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Psalm 119:9-16.
