When ever 9/11 is mentioned it evokes deep emotions. It is just like
December 7, 1941. For knowledgeable believers, when September 11th
is mentioned we think of the birth of our lord and savior. The integrity and
accuracy of God’s Word teaches this truth. Most important, Jesus Christ was
born and accomplished what God asked him to do to bring eternal salvation to
those who chose to believe what Romans 10:9 says.
Regardless of what we think about these dates and what happened, we have
the free will opportunity to choose what we want to harbor in our minds.
Though we are 1 of billions of people, we are still sons of God with power,
with the hope of Christ return at any moment. Keeping your life in
perspective according to the revealed Word of God is sound thinking. A
statement from Lessons in Dynamic Christian Living: The Foundation of God’s
Word on page 264 gives a scope of life that will help us keep our life in
perspective: “The great failing of both Lucifer and Adam was disobedience.
The death of Jesus on the cross displayed the greatest obedience, for at the
cross his obedience was fulfilled. All the attempts of Satan to seduce Jesus
into dishonoring God and joining in the rebellion with fallen angels and men
had failed. At the cross the victory was won, for the battle was one of
obedience versus disobedience, as it still is today.”
