Let Your Believing Soar

OUR TIMES

Let Your Believing Soar

(By Victor Paul Wierwille)

One of the most remarkable truths in the Word concerns God’s own inheritance. Even as the unspeakable presence of the holy spirit is our eternal inheritance, so our Father’s inheritance is His people. In Deuteronomy 32:9, Moses declared: “For the Lord’s portion is his people…” And in Ephesians 1:19, Paul speaks of “the riches of the glory of his [God’s] inheritance in the saints.”

Our presence with God in the heavenlies is His desire. The gift of holy spirit within us is the title-deed and our hope of that glory to come.

In the meantime, our Father longs for His children to manifest power for abundant living in these OUR TIMES “that we should be…to the praise of the glory of his grace.” It is not God’s will that His heirs remain powerless and destitute while they await His glory to be manifested. When we received power from on high, we gained the inherent ability to stand against the wiles of the Devil, manifesting victory in every situation, reigning as more than conquerors through Him who loved us, always having all sufficiency in all things.

Believing is the key to receiving. Paul says in Ephesians 1:19 that God wants us to know “…what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe….” [Those who are] followers …see mighty signs, miracles and wonders in their lives because they walk in the light of the Word and claim God’s promises, believing that He can and will do “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.”

We are to be continually aware of God’s presence. The satanic challenge to our authority as God’s people will become more acutely evident as he attempts to counteract the power that believers are manifesting everywhere. Yet we are God’s inheritance. He has a vested interest in our lives, in our well-being, in our work on His behalf in this present time, and He is able to make all grace abound toward us. Paul sums it up in Ephesians 2:10:

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Apply His Word and let your believing soar.
