{Editors Note: Rev. Barnhart recently returned from
visiting the saints in India, I have great thanksgiving for all of your lives and for the loving support you have showed and continue to show towards my life and ministry. I am so thankful for each and every one of you. A big thanks to Kent and Pam Davenport for their donation of time and the supplies for the waffle breakfast. Also to all of you who brought side items and helped serve and clean up. Your hearts of giving along with the financial gifts were very humbling and inspiring. It was such a great testimony of the love of God in the One Body. Words cannot fully express my gratitude for your lives, but God knows our hearts, and His rewards are bountiful. My life has definitely been affected by the humility and simple believing of those in India. Their desire to serve the one true God and live for Him is quite evident-both by the words of their mouths and the miracles they see frequently. They have such a wonderful vision to see God’s Word move all over the world, and a corresponding passion to participate prayerfully to see this occur. Their trust in God to work in spite of circumstances was refreshing and confronting. The emphasis on “quality of life” was not such a driving force as we might see in this country. It seemed that the believer’s were blessed in their environments, no matter how basic. At this time in my life, I see a greater need for prayer and then corresponding action, according to whatever the Father may reveal. Please join me in a focused effort to “pray without ceasing” (I Thess. 5:16) and to be ready to take action as needed, “be ready always” (I Pet. 3:15). Together, we have such a strong bond and purpose. We are the Body of Christ; the fulfillment of God’s dream of the ages. Let’s not let anything stop us from receiving all that is good and all that God desires for us to have. “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” Psa.37:4 I love you.
