God Our Father

God’s desire from the beginning was to have companionship, a family to love. His love for His people and His desire to provide for and care for them is evident throughout His Word.

In the Old Testament, the prophet Jeremiah looked to God in very desperate times, acknowledging God’s power and believing that He would provide deliverance regardless of the circumstances.

Jeremiah 32:17:
Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

As the truth about God, our loving heavenly Father, unfolds to our hearts through His Word, we cannot help but stand in awe of who He is, what He has done for us and what He continues to do in us.

God is faithful, full of compassion, gracious, longsuffering, plenteous in mercy and truth.
He is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort.
He is the God of patience and consolation, the God of hope.
He is the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory.
God works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.
He has bestowed His love upon us.
He has made us His children.
He shall supply all our need according to His riches in glory.
He is able to make all grace abound toward us.
He is our sufficiency in all things.
God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
He has enlightened the eyes of our understanding.
He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
God has begun a good work in us and will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

There is no circumstance too challenging, no need in our lives too great, for our God. There is nothing too hard for Him and He is not withholding any good thing from us.

Romans 8:32:
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

God desires that we look to Him, love Him, believe Him and declare His Word to others. Our Father’s will is for all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (I Timothy 2:4). Let’s tell them the truth about God and His Son Jesus Christ, so they, too, can enjoy a life abounding with benefits, deliverance and blessings!
