Access To God Through History

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.
Psalm 27:4

Perhaps no greater passion exists in man than to have access to God. Man through the ages of time has endeavored to gain entry to his God. The true God has always desired for all mankind to have access to Him. That is why He started Adam and Eve with spirit. But because of their sin they died spiritually and lost that connection. God had to work with man in other ways until He could fully redeem him through His son Jesus Christ and make available the new birth spirit on the day of Pentecost. Below is a chart of the different ways man had access to God through history.

After Pentecost they could have full access via the New Birth. This was a result of the Great Mystery revealed. Ephesians 2:11-18 and 3:5 and 6.
