There is a love that is far greater than any human love. It surpasses any
and all of mankind’s wildest dreams about love. It is an enduring love like
no other, and it is available right now and throughout all eternity.
Romans 5:8:
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
The love you and I have as born again sons of God, is unmatched by anyone
or anything. It is a love to behold.
I John 3:1:
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should
be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it
knew him not.
No event in the annals of history, no movies ever produced, no books ever
written, nothing, can compare to the love of God in manifestation toward those
who get born again of God’s spirit.
I John 4:9-13:
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his
only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his
Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in
us, and his love is perfected in us.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us
of his Spirit.
Hopefully the born again one embraces this “love to behold” and acts
accordingly to live his life for the one who died and rose again for him.
II Corinthians 5:14 and 15:
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one
died for all, then were all dead:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not
henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose
again.
Not only does this love enter into God’s born again children, but it
cannot be taken away. There is nothing on the face of this earth or even in
this universe that can separate us from the love of God. Our Father makes a
dynamic point in communicating this truth in Romans:
Romans 8:35:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril,
or sword?
The next two verses (36 and 37) continue this dramatic presentation of how
nothing can separate us from the love of God by declaring that we are in no
way “accounted as sheep for the slaughter,” but on the other hand, we are
“more that conquerors through Him that loved us.”
You would think these last several verses in their dramatic presentation
would convince any reader of God’s determined attitude to allow absolutely
no one or nothing to separate the love of God from His children. But God is
not done communicating His most adamant declaration of His binding love for
us. He reveals it in verses 38 and 39:
Romans 8:38 and 39:
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Again, what a love to behold! Our Heavenly Father pulls out all the
literary ammunition to blow our minds with His wonderful, dynamic love!
May we become the recipients of the prayer in Ephesians that declares:
