Two Defining Forces

E-mail Print PDF

The photo below says so much. I am very grateful for both. But I am especially thankful for

our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who really, not only saved our soul, but bought us and made us a whole new creation in Christ.

1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The word for "creature" in verse 17 should be a new "creation". We are a whole new creation in Christ!
We are completely new in Christ.

Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

2Co 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Well, I think that says it all!

Bob

Counts

Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.

Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes

Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.

Count your full years instead of your lean
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.

Count your health instead of your wealth;
Count on God instead of yourself.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
