"Beloved Now . . ."
You know the rest of that quotation. It has a thrill. It stirs the heart. It awakens the imagination.
“Beloved, now are we the Sons of God.” God’s Sons. Not cringing, fearful worshippers of a God whom you dread and fear but Sons of God, children of this wonderful Father.
You come into His presence with laughter and joy. Our days of weakness are over. Our days of fear have ended. We are out in the clear now. We are the very Sons of God, joint heirs with Jesus Christ.
“Greater is He that is living in us than the forces of darkness that are in the world.”
Fearlessly we face this new day, we face the oppositions, we face the circumstances that are man-built, with God’s strength and God’s courage. We fear not.
You see circumstances are man-made, but my Father is greater than all!
My Father created man, He created a universe and He is the God of all flesh. There is nothing too hard for Him. So I go on singing, filled with laughter and joy because my Father holds the steering wheel. My Father rules the very winds.
Fearlessly then I walk with Him. Come on, men and women, join our joyful, Victorious company, casting every care upon Him.
I can hear a heart whisper, “If I only had Faith like this.”
Faith in whom? Why, Faith in my own Father! Then your heart leaps. It is not Faith in God, the far-off One, the One who has no interest in your daily life and burdens, but Faith in your own loving, wonderful Father-God.
Now Faith is not such a difficulty. It has become a natural production of a heart that knows its own Father.
Turn with me to John 17:23, “That the world may know that thou didst send me, and lovedst even them as thou lovedst me.” What? Yes, the Father Loves YOU just as He loved Jesus.
Oh, what a vista of privileges in Fellowship, in Ministry. How that Scripture opens to the heart of the Child of God.
That the Father loves you this morning, loves you as He loved Jesus.
Well, then you have power, you have freedom, you get your prayers answered. You can see Miracles performed, you can speak with authority, you can love without limit, you are not afraid.
Now walk with Him anywhere. He will care for you as He cared for Jesus. He will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. “Beloved, now are we Sons of God!”
Joyfully, Victoriously we walk through these days of testing.
