God sent His Word to heal you. Without a doubt His Word works. He will perform His Word without a shadow of a doubt. The one thing we are responsible to do is to keep out the doubt.
Your healing may be instant or it may take some time before you experience the total physical effects of God’s healing power. So don’t let doubts arise because you do not see immediate results and do not let lingering symptoms discourage you.
When you go to the doctor, do you immediately begin to feel better? No, the medicine you receive may take some time before it begins to work. In the same way the effects of God’s healing may not appear instantly either. Believing and patience work together.
Hebrews 10:35 & 36: Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
The key in seeing results is two fold. First, confess your deliverance now. Secondly, increase your dosage of God’s medicine, His Word, in your thinking and heart. The results of God’s Word living in your life is having a merry heart. “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:...” (Proverbs 17:22a).
An Important Question
Healing results will come, but what do I do until my healing is fully manifested in my life? Here is your prescription:
- Make God’s Word the final authority. I Peter 2:24 says, “By whose stripes you were healed.” The Word settles it. That’s it!
- Refuse to believe what you see and feel. Only believe God’s Word. Romans 4:18-21.
- Refuse doubt and unbelief. When the devil whispers doubt and unbelief in our mind, refuse them immediately. Doubt your doubts. “Feed your faith – starve your doubts.” James 4:7: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
- Meditate on God’s Word. Keep your mind fixed on His promises. Proverbs 4:20-23.
- Cast your care on the Lord. The devil will try to use anxiety and fear over your situation to discourage from claiming your deliverance. “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” I Peter 5:7. Be anxious for nothing. Philippians 4:6 and 7.
- Praise God for your healing. Praising God before you see a manifestation of your deliverance puts you in the best frame of mind before you see the results. Jeremiah 17:14 and Psalms 107:21.
- Don’t Waver. Expect to receive. James 1:6 & 7.
- Never give up. Abraham, the Father of believing “staggered not at the promises of God, … but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.” Romans 4:20 & 21.
- Listen to the Word. Keep your mind fixed on the Word; fellowship much; listen to teaching CD’s, tapes, etc. Surround your mind with the Word of God. Job 23:12.
- Confess the Word regarding your healing. It is difficult to believe you are healed when you are talking about sickness. Speak only words that are in agreement with God for your healing. God is with me; God is strengthening me; God is helping and upholding me. God is!! See Isaiah 41:10.
- Slow down and listen to the Father. Your Abba will comfort you and give you direction towards your deliverance. Ask in prayer and then listen for His response. The holy spirit will teach you all things. John 14:26. “Be still, and know that I am God:..” Psalm 46:10.
- Remember the Healer lives in you. “The Lord that heals you.” Jehovah Rapha is the very nature dwelling in you. Exodus 15:26. Greater is God in Christ in you than the devil and his oppressions. You have perfect love, joy, peace, patience, faith… making up your new man; your old man is dead in Christ. I John 4:4, John 14:20, Galatians 5:22 & 23.
- Pray for others. “And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends...” Job 42:10.
As we boldly exercise our believing in God and put on His Word, we will see great deliverance in all areas of life. Our prayer will be, “Father, I thank you for your Word that declares by Jesus Christ’s stripes I was healed. I believe your healing power went to work in my body the moment I heard and believed your Word. Jesus bore my sickness, disease, fear, doubt and pain. I resist you in the name of Jesus Christ. I enforce the Word of God on you. My days of sickness and disease are over in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Praise the Lord that we can exercise our believing 24/7 knowing God and His Word always work!
